About the role
The Finance Manager / Controller manages CloudData.Center's financial operations — accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, billing, payroll, and compliance — providing the financial visibility the leadership team needs to make confident decisions.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close
- Produce monthly financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
- Manage project accounting and revenue recognition for professional services engagements
- Develop and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process
- Manage payroll processing and contractor billing across multiple geographies
- Ensure tax compliance across US, India, and relevant international jurisdictions
- Support audit and investor reporting requirements
- Implement and manage accounting systems: QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent
What we need
- 6+ years in accounting or finance, with 2+ years in a Controller or Finance Manager role
- Experience with professional services or project-based revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with international accounting requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software: QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero
- CPA license preferred
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency financial management
- Technology services or consulting firm background
