About the role
The Director of Facility Management leads CloudData.Center's 24/7 operations engagements — managing preventive maintenance programs, DCIM platforms, SLA governance, remote hands coordination, and incident response for client data center facilities.
What you will do
- Own 24/7 operations delivery for managed facility engagements across one or more client sites
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for MEP systems: UPS, generators, cooling, and fire suppression
- Implement and manage DCIM platforms (Nlyte, Sunbird) for real-time monitoring and capacity planning
- Govern SLA performance: uptime, incident response, change management, and reporting
- Manage remote hands teams and third-party vendor relationships on site
- Lead critical incident response and root cause analysis
- Produce executive-grade operational reporting: PUE, uptime, capacity, and energy performance
- Drive energy optimization and sustainability initiatives for client facilities
What we need
- 12+ years in critical facility operations, data center management, or facility engineering
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems: UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, fire suppression, and BMS
- Experience managing 24/7 operations teams in a mission-critical environment
- DCIM platform experience (Nlyte, Sunbird, or equivalent)
- CDCP, CDCS, or equivalent Uptime Institute or BICSI credential preferred
Nice to have
- Experience operating colocation or hyperscale data center environments
- Energy management certification (Certified Energy Manager or equivalent)
