About the role
The Director of Program Management leads CloudData.Center's Owner's Representative engagements — providing independent oversight of design, construction, commissioning, and vendor management on behalf of clients building AI-ready data centers.
What you will do
- Lead program management on data center design and construction engagements as Owner's Representative
- Manage A&E firms, general contractors, MEP engineers, and commissioning agents on behalf of the client
- Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, risk registers, and quality control frameworks
- Chair design reviews, construction progress meetings, and commissioning sessions
- Manage long-lead procurement of critical path equipment (UPS, switchgear, cooling, generators)
- Produce executive-grade program status reports and escalation protocols
- Coordinate with utility providers, municipalities, and regulatory bodies
- Lead acceptance testing and client handover at commissioning
What we need
- 12+ years in data center or mission-critical facility program management or construction management
- Owner's Representative or Construction Management experience required
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems: electrical distribution, UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, liquid cooling
- Experience managing multi-million dollar capital programs across multiple vendors
- PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred
Nice to have
- Uptime Institute ATD credential
- Experience with hyperscale or AI data center builds
- Middle East construction and regulatory experience
